1. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Bike Companion only accept Bank Transfer and PayPal. You are required to make 100% payment (items totals + shipping totals) via Bank Transfer or PayPal for us to process your order. In the event the item is out-of-stock, or you are ordering a bike/ wheelset/ frame/handlepost (which are preorder items) the 100% payment is essential for us to secure the item/number of piece(s) you ordered.

For Bank Transfers,
1) it is encouraged that you check and transfer the correct payment to us. Any discrepancy in the amount of funds transferred to us may cause a delay/cancellation on your orders. 
2) please quote your order number and send us your transaction reference number or screenshot via email (payment@bikecompanion.sg) or sms (8228 3510)

2. HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

You will receive an email after we received your order. After we received payment and mail out your item, we will provide you the tracking number via email. You can use the details to log onto the associated delivery company website to find out when your delivery will arrive.

3. CAN I REFUND MY ITEM?

Bike Companion does not accept Returns unless product is deemed defective after Bike Companion’s investigation and assessment. Variations in measurement are not considered a defect. You are responsible for ensuring that product measurements are accurate. If you believe you have received a defective item, email us at admin@bikecompanion.sg with your order number, and a photograph of the defect.

The decision for a replacement piece or refund solely lies with Bike Companion and will be accessed case by case basis. If a returns request is to be made, item must be mail back to Bike Companion in its original state and with its original packaging for investigating and accessing purposes. You are responsible for postage costs of returned items. Kindly note that all return parcels are dealt via mailing only. You are encouraged to send your parcel using a delivery method that allows tracking. In the event the parcel does not reach Bike Companion, Bike Companion will not be responsible for the loss of mail.

If you return an item that does not meet the requirements for returns set out above, Bike Companion reserves the right to reject the return and any request for a refund. If we accept your return, we will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible. Please note that refunds will be provided only in the form of store credit.

Store credit is credit that you can use towards the purchase of an item from our Site. It comes in the form of an electronic voucher and will be sent to your email. Store credit is strictly non-refundable, non-extensible and non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for the purchase of Gift Cards. Store credit is to be redeemed in a single transaction only. No cash will be reimbursed for unused store credit.

4. WHAT ARE THE PREORDER ITEMS?

All items have existing stock unless they go out-of-stock. However, BIKES, WHEELSETS, FRAMES and HANDLEPOSTS are all pre-orders items. We do not keep stock for these categories as they can either be customised or not-inventory friendly.

5. WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

Currently, Bike Companion only delivers locally. For orders out of Singapore, please email in to admin@bikecompanion.sg.

6. WHAT DELIVERY METHODS DO YOU PROVIDE?

Bike Companion only provide Delivery and Store Pickup. By default, all orders are by Delivery/Postage. And WEIGHT BASED SHIPPING should be selected on checkout page. If you are self collection, then select PICKUP FROM STORE on checkout page.

For order items that exceeds the standard letterbox dimensions, you may expect a courier service to your door. The cost of delivery of your Order will be displayed to you on our Site.

In event of unsuccessful delivery, a delivery advice will be slipped underneath your door. You can collect the item from the designated post office, or redirect it to another post office of your convenience or reschedule for another delivery. As collection timing may vary, it is advisable to check the timing before proceeding to the post office to collect. You are also encouraged to bring along your NRIC or identification card, and delivery advice, as well as any other identification.

7. HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

Bike, frames and wheelset delivery service is at $30 to be selected on product page (may increase if address is out of reach) and all other normal items delivery is by weight-based upon checkout. The estimated cost of delivery of your order is based on weight and will be displayed to you on our Site.

8. ANY WARRANTY FOR BIKES AND FRAMES?

We provide 1 year warranty for bikes frames and rear deraileur upon collection date. Please check the bike upon collection. Once bike is accepted and collected, any complaints will not be entertained. This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not transferable. Proof of purchase may be required. Wear and tear not covered. Read more at www.bikecompanion.sg/warrranty

9. ARE ALL BIKES PREORDER?

Yes, we provide a variety of bikes from Crius and Dahon so it's impossible to have stock for all models. Same goes for wheelset, frames and handleposts.

Preorder is required as we are able to customise the colours you want and upgrade the parts you are keen to change. This helps our customers save upgrading cost as compared to if you buy the stock model and have to spend extra to replace the parts you don't want.


Lead time is usually 10-15 working days. For Crius Master V, we usually keep a few stock pieces as they are very popular and fast selling. So if you are looking for Crius Master V model, lead time could be much lesser.

10. WHY SHOULD I BUY FROM BIKE COMPANION?

First, Bike Companion aims to be a one stop bike shop selling affordable bikes and components to our customers.

Second, at Bike Companion, you are able to customise your bike parts colours such as frame, cable, chainring, chain, handlepost, headset, seatpost, rim and hub at no additional costs. That's right, colour customisation at no additional costs! Just fill out the 'Additional Instructions'  while ordering.

Lastly, at Bike Companion, you are able to customise your bike parts! Simply top up for the parts that you want to upgrade and it would come assembled for you. 11. CAN I TEST RIDE?

Yes! Test ride is available at Blk 508A Yishun Ave 4 Angsana Breeze Lift Lobby. Strictly by appointments only! Call 82283510 to make an appointment.

12. DOES MY FOLDIE COMES WITH PEDALS & BRAKES?

Yes, they do. We often photograph our bikes without brakes or pedals for aesthetic purposes but rest assured that both are provided.

13. DO I HAVE TO ASSEMBLE MY BIKE?

No, your bike is 100% assembled upon collection or delivery to you. However, it is possible for the bike to not be assembled upon request. But Bike Companion highly recommends that all bikes be built by a professional bike mechanic for safety and proper tuning. Bike Companion will not be held liable to any damage cause from incorrect assembly of the bike. Read our warranty at www.bikecompanion.sg/warranty.

14. WHAT ARE YOUR COLLECTION HOURS?

COLLECTION HOURS
Monday to Friday from 08.00PM - 10.00PM
Saturday from 10.00AM - 02.00PM

15. WHERE DO I COLLECT MY ITEMS?

Collection is at Blk 508A Yishun Ave 4 Angsana Breeze Lift Lobby.

For self collection customers, we would have sent an email or called you to confirm the date and time for collection after we received your payment. Please only come when collection date and time has been confirmed by Bike Companion. And call 82283510 when reached.

16. WHAT ITEMS CAN BE SELF COLLECTIED OR ASKED FOR DELIVERY?

Items that can be self collected or asked for delivery are:

  • Bikes
  • Frames
  • Wheelset

*All other normal items are through postage (select weight based shipping upon checkout).

If you are self collecting, select PICKUP FROM STORE on checkout page.

Otherwise by default, all orders use registered mail (Postage). Please select WEIGHT BASED SHIPPING on checkout page.

17. WHAT IF I HAVE A MIX OF SELF COLLECT ITEMS AND NORMAL ITEMS (THAT ARE POSTAGE BY DEFAULT)?

If you are ordering a mixture of items such as bikes, wheelsets and frames (self collect items), and all other items (postage by default), you may

1) put in separate orders, one order for self collection items, one order for normal items if time is of essence to you. Because self collection items are usually preorder items and may take a longer time

2) self collect all items by selecting SELF COLLECTION on product page and STORE PICKUP on checkout page.
